Our Counselling Team
PCS
prides itself on offering an appropriate and professional response to
our clients. To achieve the low fees offered, our counsellors volunteer their time free to the local community. They are qualified, professionally registered and insured to practice and may be gaining hours at the completion of a Professional qualification or for their personal full Accreditation. They may just be doing it to give something back.
They get full management support with
professional clinical supervision of their work and are insured and
professionally registered with the BACP (British Association for
Counselling and Psychotherapy).
Our range of fees
Our
range of fees are listed below, and whilst PCS's fees start from around £20,
most counsellors and Psychotherapists cost over £50 - £100 per session
these days. PCS are able to offer low cost counselling through their
commitment to offering an affordable, confidential and professional
service to their clients in the local community whilst supporting the growing experience of counsellors working toward their
accreditation with the BACP. If you prefer, Senior Accredited and
very experienced counsellors/ psychotherapists are available at their normal
fees. Call for details.
Confidentiality
Trust
is extremely important between counsellor and client. Except in
exceptional circumstances (which are clearly laid out at the outset) all
your discussions and issues are kept confidential between you and your counsellor. How you work together is agreed during your initial
session. Your data is kept appropriately according to GDPR legislation and we adhere to an Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity policy.
